Choose More Villa and Less cost in Barbados this Summer

Summer in Barbados can offer excellent value, not just because of the low season prices, but because many of the larger villas offer reduced rates for taking less bedrooms. For example, a five bedroom villa may also offer a 3 or 4 bedroom rate during the summer and simply lock off any unused rooms. Many very large villas (eg 6 bedrooms plus) will have seperate guests houses or annexes that can be closed off, meaning you get to experience a very luxurious villa for a significantly reduced price.

Crystal Springs

Crystal Springs is a beautiful beachfront villa on the west coast of Barbados overlooking Alleynes Bay. While the full villa can accommodate 20 people in 10 bedrooms spread across the main house as well as various cottages and annexes, there are also options for 5, 7 and 8 bedrooms.

The villa is located between Holetown and Speightstown, with easy access to both. It features some exceptional facilities including a cinema room, small library, gym, heated infinity pool and plenty of living and dining spaces with wonderful views of the ocean. The villa comes with a full team of staff including a chef, butler, housekeepers and security. 

Bachelor Hall

Bachelor Hall is a fabulous west coast estate in Barbados with a rich history. This luxurious home is located on the beachfront in the sought-after St James parish. The property features 7 en-suite bedrooms, however can be rented as a 6 or 5 bedroom rental during summer and winter season.

Set over 3.4 acres, Bachelor Hall offers breezy open-air dining spaces and lush greenery. The design of the home is influenced by a vintage chic décor and is ideal for multi-generational families. The villa also features a large pool with seating for up to 15 people, a gym and spa area as well as a full team of staff including a chef that will prepare 3 meals a day. This can include a special Teppanyaki dinner at the specially designed bar. 

Rose of Sharon

Rose of Sharon Sandy Lane is an elegant villa located in the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate and nestled within one and a half acres of tropical gardens and surrounded by elegant palm trees.

The villa features six ensuite bathrooms, four in the main house and two in a newly built guesthouse. The ground floor of the main house includes a large air-conditioned living room opening onto the covered terrace and a separate dining room and further breakfast/kitchen area. The four bedroom rate is available during summer and winter (not festive). The villa also has a gym and comes with access to the Sandy Lane Owners beach facility as well as a cook and housekeeper.

Emily House

Emily House is a beautiful villa located on the southern tip of Barbados in Christchurch, it enjoys views of the Atlantic ocean and has beach access. The villa has been designed with open plan living in mind with a retro beachy vibe and views. It has been recently refurbished with light wooden floors, eye-catching chandeliers and an upgraded state of the art kitchen. The pool is the place where you spend many an hour relaxing. There are also some shallow pools and bays just along the low cliffs from the garden that you can dip your toes in.

The villa features seven bedrooms but can also be a 5 bedroom during the summer and winter seasons. It is a wonderful choice for larger groups and extended families. 

Sugar Cane Ridge 12

Sugar Cane Ridge 12  is located in the prestigious Royal Westmoreland Golf resort on the west coast of Barbados. This newly built villa is set over three levels and includes three luxurious bedrooms on the lower level and a fourth on the main entrance level. This fourth bedroom can be locked off during the Summer and Winter seasons.

The top level of the house features an exquisitely appointment living and dining room and kitchen. The Kitchen includes brand new top end appliances and finishes, perfect for preparing some delicious meals! The spacious covered patio is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the beautiful tropical breeze and panoramic views of the golf course.
